My year in review #1.

Bejeezus, where have I been? I've started countless blogs recounting events of the day or the river of thoughts that can vomit through the tips of my fingers...but I haven't had the heart to blog lately. Going out and living that life has taken precedence... As usual, I'm overworked and underpaid, but who isn't? I go out with friends when I can. I obsess about whether or not I should get a haircut this week. I haven't and it's been 5 weeks. I don't have time to do some things I've done before, much less see some of my nearest and dearest.

This year started out great and full of blind optimism. Started a business...fell into a groove at work...started on the road to a MBA.

As time ticked by, the business fell flat on its face...a mess that still has to be cleaned up by a jumpstart or a mutual agreement to walk away by all four partners...I thank God we're still good friends and in a way our friendship got in the way of making the venture a successful business.

Live and learn I suppose, but trust, this will not be the last you will be hearing from us collectively and individually. We're too impatient, stubborn, rude, and proud to take defeat. I guess that's why we all became friends in the first place.

Lats, Jesse and LJ; you guys have provided me with a year to remember and a crash course in how not to conduct a registered business...all in all, I'm glad all the mistakes that were made, I made with the best people to learn with. On the flip side, I think our social lives definitely took a priority ahead of our brainchild...but we had some dope times. With the coming year, a fresh start can definitely happen.

Story behind the pic: That was taken a full week before we officially launced as NYC on Tap, Inc. Feb. 14 of this year at some random happy hour with the FIT girls. LJ somehow always misses to take these pictures...he might have been holding the camera, I forget.
