Well hello.

Vote for whoever you like.

I followed this whole election more closely than I ever had before...but kept my thoughts and opinions to myself. Within my own family is a huge debate on who is the better man for president...to the point of attacking the character of the person with the opinon! HA! I am a pariah! Just kidding...

No doubt, it doesn't matter who you vote for...it's important to just get out and vote.

No election in our lifetime will hit us quite so close to home as this one...

Magpakitang...

Any doubts that I had about my future and the direction of my career the past few weeks have been obliterated. I'm revved up again. The roller-coaster that is advertising is becoming much better as the days go by.

In other news...GILAS NYC is stepping up the goals for fundraising this year. Big names, big companies, big networks. Tonight's latest meeting has everyone amped for 1Q08...be on the lookout for new PR events, marketing techniques and branding ideas to be fully analyzed on this here bloggy blog.

And on a last note...I need a designer (ahem Courtney) to create the GILAS t-shirt that will be sold at the FIND Conference this year. Think...Urban Outfitters meets "What would Al Gore do?" keeping in mind the freshness that is sharp design and the integrity of the GILAS project.

The ideas keep bubbling.

Rainy day.

Today's storm from the Jersey side of the Hudson. Props to Vince, who's sharp eye and talent warrant some props from my side of this blog world. Dope stuff. Check it out here.

Cuts.

It's always inspiring to meet someone who's always hungry and always planning some next level shit.

I've known him for a few actually but in 2007, Brendan or I should say, "Mr. Bee" went from giving cuts at Astor in SoHo a.k.a. NYU Central; to helping establish Frank's Chop Shop as the go-to place for some crazy old-school meets street-sensibility experience. This is the man who gave me a mohawk that I could get away with at the office. He's good. Real good.

Features from Complex to Nylon to New York Magazine; the shop is deffo on the next level. Props to the heads running the shop. Be prepared for a visit, I need a new cut!
