High protien, good carbs and extra fiber equals no taste.

I'm eating better these days but sometimes it's hard to maintain that routine with the stomach starts to grumble for no good reason. There's all these temptations around me that it's hard not to give in to any of them.

Downtown Manhattan is just block after block of gourmet delis, obviously priced way out of my weekly lunch budget. Who pays $7 for two ounces of salad? But if I want to save money, there's the typical dollar menus and the street meat vendors. I usually aim for street meat because that's more bang for the buck but it's not entirely part of the meal plan.

With the new diet, I have to eat about 7 times per day. Just like back in Stony Brook when I had had squares on my stomach. My mom doubts that I can stick to it only because my stomach serves as the food pail whenever we go out to eat. All it takes is a little bit of will power. And maybe a shot of inspiration or a kick in the ass.

My body is not what it used to be and I feel it now more than ever. I lugging around extra weight and my knees are forever crackin'. But I'm determined to get back into a good routine like the 300 routine all the fellas started around the same time last year. There's just a lot of work to do.
