I have just found the joys of uploading posts straight from my phone. But really, do I need another gadget connecting me to the internets? Life is already a rat race in New York, so I enjoy my quiet time...where I can actually write with a pen and paper, turn off my cell phone/PDA/laptop/mp3 combo that's usually found on my person on a daily basis. I digress.
The internet is good for some things. Like having the ability to connect people like this here blog and being able to capture some good memories and moments of events like my last trip to DC this past weekend.

The view from the Lincoln Memorial.

The White House was suprisingly small compared to what I thought it would be. I've seen it up close before in a previous DC trip, but after observing the building for a good 10 minutes, it didn't seem as grandiose as depicted in TV and the movies.

Steak lunch at a shmancy French restaurant. This was part of my "cheat" weekend. Disregard that farmer's tan of mine.

The Washington, DC metro. It was more like the monorail at Disney World than the gritty NYC subway system.

Mr. Jefferson.

The National Mall.

Reppin' the West...

...but East is the best!

Dressed to the nines for my cousin's engagement party.

Me and my Grandma aka G-ma because she'll kick your ass.

How so many of my nights end.

That was a fun trip. Too bad it had to end.

i remember hitting DC a couple years ago. i have to say....their metro is so clean! i have yet to ride the grimey world famous trains of nyc, but compared to toronto's subway (which is clean in it's own right), the metro is immaculate.....and it was as if there were no crazy people aboard when i went.
that's odd.
subways and psychological illness usually go hand in hand.
splendid post, sir.
why you being shady?!
i think PJ would beat you at a dance off... hahah
most definitely a great weekend. thank you.
