Back in my day...

In the course of one day, I ran into a friend from high school on the subway, my dad is back from his 8-month stay in the PI and got an invite for PUSOFest tomorrow night (last minute, no less.)

I ran into Dave, the prom king, on my way home from work. I fell asleep on the R train and when I woke up to check the stop, he's right there sitting across from me. Caught up on the past few months since we last saw eachother and got the update of who's married, engaged or promoted.

Pops is back home. Good to have him back, but I have a feeling he'll be bored out of his mind since my schedule doesn't permit me to be home more often than I like. I suppose handing over the keys to the Jeep will enable him to get out of the apartment for a few hours each day.

PUSOFest at Stony Brook is tomorrow. I'm surprised it's this early in the semester and even more surprised that they're making performers pay to get in as well. Back in my day (stop!) the show was free for all attendees, especially the performers. Ah well. Best of luck to all the seniors, you were all freshmen when my reign (of terror) was in full effect...most especially to my lil' bro, Arlo. Break a toe man, break a toe.
