Brand New.

So Blogger has hooked up to my Google account for all around access and options and etc. etc. etc. Pretty cool.

I called out of work today and pretty much made myself a three day weekend. I went on another interview that went really well, so hopefully by the end of this week I will have reason to celebrate with two anticipated offers maybe rolling in. Some have said that I'm hitting at the wrong time...who actually makes a move two weeks before the holidays? Am I crazy? Probably.

As soon as I walked out of the interview, I took my cousin out to lunch and pretty much caught up on the family gossip. Nothing new to report, except that I'm pretty much at square one with Christmas shopping. Echoing many of my friends' feelings, it just doesn't feel like Christmas. The magic is wearing off and I'm realizing we're celebrating all the gimmicks and forgetting the true meaning of the holiday (I'm Linus all of a sudden.)

Ah well...hopefully with the new year, I'll have a new job, new resolve and a brand new outlook on my future. It's not as bleak as I thought!!

how did i miss the "man law" post the last time? great stuff...and also, the two-man rule also applies to movies being watched in theatres. two men shall never watch a movie together in a theatre....too bad ive done that a couple times here in bangkok, already with my boy.

as for Christmas...i knew that's how it is back in our world. once i take my spaceship back home this thursday, it's gonna be really really painful to leave. although, once i start missing and want a taste of the consumerism of north america's Christmas, i'll easily hit a mall here where all the white and japanese "farang" (foreigners) visit. it's a predominately buddhist country...wtf is santa doing near the buddah shrine?

western capitalism at its best. santa is an excuse to peddle more crap we don't need. but oh how i need that crap in every frikkin' color.

have a safe trip back homie...enjoy those last few days of simplistic living. (jeans, tshirt and a toothbrush! i would love that life everyday!)
