G-matters.

Where did the nine weeks of summer go? As I prepare to go to my last GMAT prep class today, I realize that this summer flew by me without as much as a blip on the radar. Not saying that I didn't do much this summer, I've actually managed to accomplish quite a bit, but I don't feel like I have anything to show for the past few months.

Work, study, eat and sleep. That's what it's all about now. And now that my class is over...the next step is the actual exam. Then after that, I've got to find a brand new position that will allow me to support myself as I go to b-school and get my MBA.

My little sister is moving into the apartment next weekend so that she can be closer to Long Island, where she'll be starting med school the week after. I thought my finances would be a little strained, but I've got to feed this girl too... And if you know my family, you know we'll probably eat ourselves out of the apartment.

Ahhh. The easiest answer to all this is me winning the lottery. When I was in high school I never thought I'd be this ambitious. Back then, I wanted to get through college, find a job and cruise through life. In college, I figured out what I wanted...and finally after graduation, I decided to strive for more. Striving for more is hard. I complain about everything but at the end of the day, I'm content with how far I've come along in the past few months. All the plans I've wanted to accomplished have either been squared away or are in the works. So right now, I'm golden.

As much as I stress on little things...the big picture is looking pretty damn good.
