Lunch with Spud today was amazing. Good laughs, engaging conversation and a whole lot of food. We both figured out that we're both boring as hell, talking of things such as MBA's, tuition re-imbursements, contract negotiations...things we hadn't even thought about when we graduated from Stony Brook. Found out she's in advertising also, which was cool to complain about with her.

We sure did have some good times reminiscing about how drunk we always seemed to be at the Stony parties. How much we ate at the SAC whenever we weren't in class. The useless Stony Brook degrees we have...

Pause. No, I'm not venturing down that road again. She's still with that man of hers... My boys are already planning to make me forget about that whole mess I was that summer when we get to Montreal for my birthday this year.

But still.

At least i'm genuinely smiling again after a rough couple of weeks. Plus she's treating me out to an expensive dinner...with dessert. I'll go easy and just order one lobster instead of the two.
