...deal with it and keep your mind right by keeping busy.
1. Plan a bbq. The "So this is what becomes of PUSO alums..." bbq is this Saturday. I got the crew together and managed to track down a bunch of the older heads so we could show these youngn's how we used to party back at Stony Brook. The drunks, the girls, made-up sports, the girls, the inside jokes, the girls and a camera to capture all the craziness...where can you go wrong? We're gonna enjoy the summatime...
2. Book a trip. First set of fellas are leaving New York for Montreal on Aug. 17, while I'll be following with the rest on Aug. 18. I just got a dope hook-up at Le'Centre Sheraton in Montreal. $62 CAD, which comes to about $53 US per night thanks to a good friend that let me take full advantage of her corporate discount. We've been building it up to be some sort of bachelor party - esque good old time. Happy Birthday to me!
3. Star in a music video. Last Saturday, instead of washing my laundry from my trip, a few b r e a t h e-ers were tapped to dance in a music video for an up-and-coming MC by the name of R.O.B.B. It was my first video so I didn't know what to expect. Had me some fun, cheesed for the camera, and made some connects. Watch out...I may be dancing at an NBA game near you.
4. Build a closet. The weight of all my clothes caused the shelf in my closet to snap and down came the metal rod along with it. I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to find a way to re-build this. I could just stop buying clothes but let's be real...
5. Get a fresh cut and go to a concert. My barber hooks me up every time I get on the chair. He even told me about a free Central Park concert featuring the freshest hip-hop artists from the UK. Grime artist Lady Sovereign will be bringin' the heat on a hazy summer day.
6. Party. D-uh. Especially with the girls from the bbq + the fellas headed to Montreal x a good DJ - some shots = a good old time.
